TCP port 115 is assigned to SFTP (Simple File Transfer Protocol) defined in RFC 913—distinct from the SSH-based SFTP.

In current practice, mainstream file-transfer software uses SSH File Transfer Protocol over TCP 22 instead, so active services on TCP 115 usually indicate an old RFC 913 SFTP deployment.
