Synopsis for TCP port 590
Internet TCP port 590 is commonly used by Virtual Network Computing (VNC) systems for remote desktop access. For instance, RealVNC, TightVNC, and UltraVNC all use this port as the default for their first VNC server. Each subsequent server uses the next port in numerical order (5901, 5902, etc.). This allows users to control a computer from another location, providing remote access to the system.
