Synopsis
- TCP port 30003 is commonly used by ADS-B software for the Kinetic “SBS-1/BaseStation” text feed of aircraft messages.
- Kinetic Avionics BaseStation (Windows) exposes its live SBS feed on port 30003.
- dump1090 (including dump1090-fa/mutability) and readsb open a TCP server on 30003 that outputs SBS/BaseStation messages.
- rtl1090 and modesdeco2 also provide an SBS feed on port 30003.
- Client software such as Virtual Radar Server and PlanePlotter can connect to receivers on 30003 to visualize aircraft.
- Aggregator/feeder tools like the Flightradar24 feeder and ADSBHub can ingest SBS data from 30003.
